Q. What are the delivery charges?
Delivery charge varies for all Products. However, a lot of products have free shipping on them. Please refer to the product for shipping rates.
We incur relatively higher shipping costs on low value items. In such cases, charging a nominal delivery charge helps us offset logistics costs. However, on many products we have waived off the shipping fee.
Q. Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?
It is possible that there is a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Courier Partners do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.
Q. What is the estimated delivery time?
We generally ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.
Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:
• Shipping time specified with the product
• Product's availability
• The destination to which you want the order shipped
PS: Deliveries to remote pincodes usually take about 7-10 Days.
Q. Are there any hidden costs (sales tax, octroi etc) on items sold at Giftsmate?
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on Giftsmate. List prices are final and all-inclusive. The price you see on the product page is exactly what you would pay.
Delivery charges are not hidden charges and are charged (if at all) extra depending on the product.
Q. Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each Product?
You have probably noticed varying estimated delivery times of the product you are interested in. Delivery times are influenced by product availability, our geographic location, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver in your location.
Q. Why is the CoD option not offered on Giftsmate?
Since we specialize in Gifts, majority of the orders are shipped to the gift’s recipient directly and you obviously do not wish the recipient to pay on delivery! :) Hence, the option of cash on delivery does not suits our business model.
Q. Can I combine more than one order in to a single shipment?
Yes, your gift box is shipped as a single box excluding flowers, cakes and chocolates.
Q. What happens if my order gets lost in transit?
If an order is being shipped anywhere in India and is lost in transit, a replacement will be provided. If an order is being shipped internationally and is lost in transit a full refund will be issued - replacements are not available for lost international shipments.
Q. What happens if my order gets returned by courier to you?
If an order is returned to us we will contact you via email once we have received it. If the order was returned due to incorrect or incomplete information, or because you've moved, please be advised that you will be responsible for any applicable reshipping costs.
Q. I need to return an item, how do I arrange for a pick-up?
Returns are easy, however restricted to only few of the gift items. For more details, please refer to our returns policy here.
Q. I just received my tracking number, but the tracking site states that it is invalid. Why isn't it working?
It takes some time for all of our tracking numbers to send to the respective courier agency. Give the network some time to update itself, and your tracking will show progress as soon as the numbers hit the system. Sometimes, it can take up to 48 hours to process, so your patience is appreciated. In case the problem is still unresolved within the given time frame, please feel free to contact us.
Q. I just spoke to your representative, he confirmed that my order has been shipped but I have not received the order tracking email yet. Are you guys real?
Yes, we are! At a lot of times, our shipments are delayed and are sent late in the evening. In those cases, all tracking numbers are updated next morning.
Q. Does Giftsmate deliver internationally?
No, currently Giftsmate delivers only in India.
